Stereoblindness..

Does anyone else have a child who is stereoblind? It was comfirmed this week that Ella is well and trully stereoblind. She had her first appointment at the hospital optometrist and baffled her with her eyes! She has now been referred on to the ophthalmologist who will hopefully have a plan of action for her (not for the stereoblindness, but she has other issues going on)

Anyway, looking to hear how other kids got on on starting school etc. Did it have any effect? I read that it can elad to difficulty reading etc which slightly worries me, but always optimistic and hoping for the best!
