Sterilising medicine syringe

How do you sterilise yours? it says cant steam sterilise and I dont have cold water steriliser. I have been washing them then soaking them in boiled water as dont know how else to make sure they are as clean as can be!

That's what we do Hun. If you steam them they distort and won't work properly. Hot soapy water is fine

I just suck up loads of boiling water about 15 times as it said to do this on our packet xx

Ive been sterilising mine for ages - oops! They all seem fine though.

We cold water sterilise ours, you dont need a special steriliser just get a bottle of milton and put some in a tub full of water and thats it. We just use a sandwich tub type thing.

i just wash them in hot soapy water and sterilize them every few days. i ust say i've always used my steam steriliser though, oops...

i don't sterilise mine! Just wash in hot soapy water and rinse in clean water. The medicine is not being stored in the syringe and it only spends 5 seconds in there so i don't see how bacteria could be a prob in such a short amount of time anyway. My lo seems ok! Jx

dr told me there is no need to sterilise them just wash in hot soapy water and rinse!

When he was little I used to cold water sterilise. Just bought some sterilising tablets from the pound shop and placed them in a pan of water. Now he's older I just wash in hot water though. X
