STILL bleeding after (SIS) Saline infused Sonogram

I had my saline sonogram on Nov 4th at 11am. It was extremely painful. they couldn't get the catheter in and I was bawling my eyes out...and I think I have a pretty high pain threshold. It took him many times and two tubes to get it in...then he said he the fluid normally comes right back out and it wouldn't> I was sweating profusely and cramping and crying my eyes out. I was bleeding pretty good afterwards then it started to taper off. I am 10 days past the SIS and am STILL bleeding. It's mostly been brown spotting but sometimes it's pretty heavy with more reddish tinge. I called my OB and she was going to put me on antibiotics to be safe and I said that my FS had put me on BCP for my IVF coming up....so she told me to call them. They said spotting didn't matter but this was a few days ago. And now I had a little gush of red blood this morning now its back to brown spotting. I'm kinda freaking out a little. I have my Trial embryo transfer this Friday (like in 2 days) and don't know whether I have an infection or if it's just because my uterus was so abused or if its the BCP. waiting on another call from the doc but wondering if anyone else went through this and what was done?

I had my sis done last month and I spotted a lot too. Almost the entire tww. The sis wasn't too painful for me, hsg was much worse. I chalked it up to irritation in the uterus/cervix. I didn't go on antibiotics.

I've had 5 sis and never bleed. Seems odd this long. I'd take the med just in case. Did the dr say you had any cervical stenosis or anything?
