Still bleeding

It's been 3 weeks since I gave birth and every time I think I'm done bleeding a day later it comes back with a bit of bright red again. How long did you ladies bleed for after giving birth? I also thought it would go away quicker because of breastfeeding but I guess not

I have heard of some people that bleed for up to 3 months postpartum.

I've stopped bleeding 4 days ago. But I still have a bit of a discharge. I bled on and off for almost 2 weeks, everytime I thought it would stop it would start again! But now it's been 4 days I haven't bled at all nor had a pink discharge.
Hopefully it stopped for good !

Im so glad I saw this post because I have been worried because Im still bleeding dark/bright red. I even lost a blood clot the other day the size of a golfball! I was really worried that it was bad that Im still bleeding, but Im glad to know that other people have bled longer.

I hope your bleeding slows soon Luckyme!

Im strill bleeding only very very lightly though. I want it gone though!!

I'm still bleeding. Colton's 10 weeks old today. I got the shot though, and I think I'm bleeding because of that. I'm never getting it again! I couldn't remember to take teh pill on time, but hell.. at least I didn't bleed constantly because of it.

I bled until almost 6 weeks. Still have d/c tho. My doc said its normal for it to come and go.

I am STILL bleeding.... and Rylees 3 months old.

I have the implanon (s/p) in and they told me to give it 3 months to work its way in and that will on some time next month.

I'm not sure if I'm bleeding because of that or still just after birth.
I will stop for a few days and the start back up for weeks.... its driving me crazy!

How long has it been since you gave birth?

I know when I was in the hospital I pass a large clot also and they told me that small ones where ok but if I kept on passing large ones like that , I needed to come back because that could mean my uterus was messed up or something.

So if you haven't already talked to your doctor you might want to.

I'm still bleeding but it is gradually stopping, thing is get my hopes up and OH it back again lol!

my babys 4 and half weeks and i think it has just stopped the last few days as im only getting a tiny bit of discharge through the day now which isnt really a blood colour xxx
