I have a friend whose little boy is exactly the same age as Rocco. She had a video posted on FB of her LO being silly in his crib. He had two
mobiles and one of those light up soother things strapped to the crib! I thought it was odd. When her son was standing up, his head was higher than the mobile so he kept bumping his head on it. I can't imagine he doesn't try to pull it down. I know Rocco would! Lol Just thought he was a little old to still have a mobile. I guess when I think of a mobile, I think of a BABY

Certainly our cot mobile said in its instructions that you should remove it as soon as the baby was old enough to sit up and bat at it.

I think it's pretty dangerous really. Loads of string and stuff, just an accident waiting to happen!

My son's broke when he was really young anyway. My son does have a little music box (like the old fashion wind up ones, where little figures dance on top) that he's had since he was a baby. I quite often put that on for him still.

I think thats dangerous too :( amelie hasnt got anything in her cot cept her babys that she takes up with her.

Jason has a dreamshow attached to his crib which I see nothing wrong with but a mobile would be dangerous.

Yeah as soon as Rocco could roll over and reach the light up thing on his crib we took that off. And as soon as he could stand up, we took off the mobile. Actually I think it was before that. I think probably when we realized he was bored with it.

Fair. Jason can't sleep without his so its necessary and its securely attached so I am not worried. The only thing he does with it is try to turn it on in the morning which I don't see as a problem either.

i dont see a light show as dangerous either, just the mobile or anything else that has string or wires.

We have a dreamshow attached to Mailie's cot which she loves but she's never had a mobile, her cot is filled with things she likes in there though, surprised she fits in :haha:
