Hi all,
I'm 30 and had a MC at 8 weeks on April 30th and would have been due in December. Since the MC we have been trying with no joy. My usual cycle was always 32 days. Since the mc it has been either 32 or 38 days, I have been using Ovulation tests and I have been ovulating, sometimes late in my cycle and that is the reason for the lengthy periods as AF usually arrives 2 weeks after a positive ovulation test. If my cycle continues in this irregular pattern but I am still ovulating is there any hope of us getting pregnant? I have been taking Pregnacare and on one or two occasions took two paracetamol for a headache but I have avoided taking anything else. I feel like there is no hope and wonder should I just give up, I have been feeling really miserable so set up this account today hoping for some light at the end of the tunnel.
Any advice would be really appreciated xx

I don't see why not! I'd personally just keep going at it during and around your typical fertility window just so you don't miss it by mistake. 7 months isn't that long in the grand scheme of things, and I've read that around 30 is when it goes from 6 months to 1 year being considered the "well, maybe it's time to try fertility treatments" cutoff, so you've still got some more time to go. Not to mention that the MC could have affected your fertility for a month or two after the MC, so consider yourself around maybe 5-6 months.

Hang in there, keep trying. :)

I wish I could offer you some reassurance but I am in the same position. MMC in May- no BFP since. My cycles have gone from being pretty regularly 25/26 days to anywhere from 20-28 days. Sending you lots of sticky baby dust- I hope you get your rainbow BFP soon

Same here i had a miscarriage and did DC i got 5 cycles after it ttc .. my period was mostly 29 or 30 its now 26 sometimes 31 and 27 no regular date also sometimes i ovulate late in CD18 sometimes CD13 i use opks too .. i wish jan would be our lucky month

It will happen again
My first pregnancy is lost at 12 weeks,my periods were crazy! In the first 6 months all I had was 3 periods. They were so long!
Every month I was crazed about getting pregnant, being angry and crying when AF arrived, hated seeing pregnant woman etc. but on the month I relaxed, went out with friends, dtd because I wanted to and not because I wanted to " baby make " and that's when I got my BFP on month 8 It felt like an absolute lifetime and I was sure I would never become mummy, sorry for your loss ladies x

Yes- there is definitely hope! You are ovulating which is the important part! :-) After my CPs my cycles got a little wonky too and I had great success with acupuncture (I always try natural approaches first when possible, plus it is covered in my insurance). Anyway, it made a huge difference and my cycles became not only regular again but better than ever with much less cramping. Anyway, there are probably a lot of things one could do, but I just wanted to share my experience :-)

Don't lose hope- you are still within the very normal range of time it typically takes. Best wishes to you <3<3
