Parker is 5 months tomorrow, 2 1/2 months adjusted. He had severe IUGR and was 2 lbs even at birth, now 9 1/2 lbs! He still wakes to eat every 2 hours, all day and night, and refusing to eat more than 2 ounces (breastmilk). Anyone experience this? Will it ever change? I feel guilty complaining at all, I'll do this forever, I'm so thankful he is here and healthy, but I am a zombie and back to work 3 days a week, I haven't slept longer than 1 1/2 hours in months....

:hugs: big big hugs hun :hugs:

I've no experience but I would guess it will happen when his weight goes up a bit more. DS1 was small for gestation (5lb 14oz at 40+6) and had bad reflux.. i was still feeding him every 2 hours at around 4/5 months old. :hugs: xxx

All of my babies (including my term baby) have woken up every 2-3 hours to eat (at night too). I thought my preemies were just used to the routine from the NICU, but my term baby never was in the NICU so I guess it's just a baby thing!
