Still windy and crying

I have had my baby girl on cow and gate comfort for 3-4 weeks now and I'm not sure it has made any difference. In the last 5 days she has become so windy and always straining to get a fart out. She has a horrible stinky poo once everyday and seems to settle after that but the hours up to it are horrendous! I don't know what else to try. She cries after feeds a lot, is very difficult to burp(even though she's been on infacol for 4 weeks now), arches and squirms and draws her knees up. The difficulty burping is the worst bit. If she doesn't burp we will lie her down to sleep but then she will start gagging and choking and then if I sit her up she will burp eventually. The night feeds are taking a long time.

Can anyone suggest anything else? She is so stinky on comfort milk and if its not making any difference should I change back to help this?

Heya.

Maybe if she isnt settleing well on comfort milk try normal first milk with Coleif added. It is expensive, but you can get it on prescription. You add it to the milk 30 mins before a feed and it breaks down some of the lactose and makes it easier for your baby to digest. Ive heard great reviews on it. xx
