Weve just had a second 12 weeks scan (although Im actually 13+3) as last week things werent clear. Weve been told baby has gastroschisis as a best case scenario and at worst prenatal ruptured membrane omphalocele. There were no doctors available as we were last scan of the day and everyone had left due to snow. Apparently mortality rates are about 10-15% for the best case, and 95% for the other. Does anyone know anything about this? Please? I cant believe this is happening.
