Stopping BCP half way through pack

Hi Girls,

Just wondering we were going to wait but have decided to go for it now, Im only half way through pack so if i just stop, will i have a normal withdrawel bleed and that be it?

when i came off it i had a withdrawal bleed and a proper period 2 weeks later.

this was when i was 18 so 3 yrs ago then went on to another pill. so it may be different for you

um...im not sure on this but I stopped at the end of a pack and my periods came back straight away and are normal. That said people don't always get their periods back straight away...hoping for you this is not the case. Good luck in your TTC journey

i stopped after a week(ish) of taking it and had breakthrough bleeding a week or so later and then 3 weeks after that i had AF.

I stopped mid pack and the next day I got my withdrawal bleed and I got my first proper period after a 25 day cycle xx

i stopped about 13 days before end of pack - got withdrawl bleed 3 days later then got my BFP 28 days after that!!

Hi!
I took my last pill on Easter Monday. I had a withdrawal bleed which lasted from last Thursday until yesterday. I'm just waiting for my first af... No idea how long I'll be waiting!

We were the same and couldn't wait!!!
I stopped bcp halfway and had a withdrawal bleed couple of days later. I am still waiting for af as withdrawal bleed was only couple of weeks ago on 1st April. Fingers crossed she doesn't mess me about.

Thanks everyone, to save messing about, i have decided to take the rest of the pack.

I will then come on 4 days later approx but will that be it then for a month roughly? ( I.e no withdrawel)
