I think you can keep them in the steriliser cant you? With our no2 son we had a steam steriliser that we put in the microwave and we used to keep the bottles in there and take them out as we needed them.
I make the bottles up with water and leave them by the sterilizer ready for the powder to be added. They don't stay sterile for very long if you just leave them in the sterilizer. Depends on how long you plan on leaving them for.
i leave mine in the sterilizer too - it says things only stay sterile for 24 hours so I figured there's no point putting them away! Just sterilze as and when I need them x x
In the steriliser but I made the water up cooled and chille din fridge if I needed an empty bottle going out etc I'd take it from the steriliser and still place in the fridge.
I noticed different sterilisers say they stay sterile for different periods of time.
I use my microwave steamer as a cold water steriliser because it said on mine (tommee tipee one) that once it is opened it's no longer sterile so you'd have to use the stuff straight away.
I also put the boiled water into my sterilised bottles and leave on the work surface, then I add the powder if he needs a bottle.
Always left mine in the steriliser until needed..add milk and water away we go...never been a problem as it says sterile from point of stem until 24 hours! (tommee tippee)
I make feeds in advance,so I sterilise them, fill with boiling water and then store them in the fridge. When she needs a bottle i pop them in the bottle warmer and they're ready.
