strange pains a week before period due

Hi, in new to this forum not sure of all the jargon yet lol, basically this is my first month trying for a baby, i have used the clear blue ovulation test kit and followed the instructions religiously. Today i have had like a sharp stabbing pain on my right side of my tummy, my period is not due for another week or so, any one else experienced this? Plz help thanks

Are you keeping track of your CD (cycle days)? If you are what day did you O (ovulate) and how many dpo (days past ovulation) are you? The sharp pain in one side can be anything from ovulation pain to implantation to just normal twinges and pinches of PMS, that you are noticing more now that you are more focused on your body. Knowing exactly where you are in your cycle can help you determine which is more plausible.

Since you said AF(Aunt Flo) is due in a week. I assumed you already ovulated. Implantation can take place 5-6 days after O, so if you BD (baby danced) around that time it could be implantation.

If its not this month, don't worry ,on average it takes a at least few months to conceive.

Thanks for your reply im due for my period on the 14th i ovulated on day 14 or 15 of my cycle the pains have stopped now so i guess we shall just have to wait and see we deffo did bd on every high and peak day that the test showed
