Hello

Well all i can say is i feel so sick like really sick.
and now have this aching strching feeling pain in my right side just under my tummy, my tummy is mega bloated, i just feel terrible to tell the truth, i am sure i wasnt this bad when i was pregnant the first time, but then again that did sadly ressult in a miscarriage, which may b the reason why.

i am tired aswell really tired, but is this aching pain normal does anyone know? am i just over reacting and over worrying after th miscarriage.

?

i am trying to stay as calm as i can as i dont want to get stressed at all.

spoke to my midwife today and she said that my blaoted tummy is normal as is more than likely fluid and what not, so i am trying not to worry bout that either

i havent been going to th gym as dont want to - i wouldnt feel right going i dont think, not until i am 12weeks +!

x

I also had a miscarriage earlier in the year with my 1st when I was just over 7 weeks. I didn't really feel pregnant at all and didn't really have much symptoms. With this one I have most symptoms, suffered from morning sickness (sometimes vomiting, most of the time just feeling sick), stretching pains, headaches, backache, too warm and quite tired most of the time. I have also begun to go off most foods too.

I take this as a good sign though compared to my last pregnancy. I was also quite worried about all the aches and pains you get in early pregnancy but I have realised that they are normal. I usually get a sharp pain in one or both of my sides if I get up/move too quickly, sneeze or cough too hard and sometimes a mild ache for no reason at all. I was assured by the midwife that these were all normal though so im sure your's are too.

Just think positive and everything should be fine :)

Thank you Ladies,

I had exactly the same question but felt too daft to ask :dohh: My sickness seemed to kick in sunday and seems to be getting worse each day  I also have a persistant right sided pain today although mild still there :( probably worrying over nothing!

Hey girlies, i posted a similar thread last week and the apparently its really commen to get this stretching or pulling feeling when you move to fast, or turn over in bed, sneeze or cough lol the list is endless.....just ur body making a comfy spot for the baby to chill in for the next 9 months xxx

I am pretty sure I ov from my right side and I think my lo is nice and comfy on this side too.....I have hardly had any cramps on my left side only right and central.....witch would be due 10th too so I suppose ovary pain right now could be possible

i too only ever seem to have the pain on the right hand side so your not alone there xx

for all those with aches on the right side, I found this from babycentre.co.uk

Throughout your pregnancy the tough, flexible tissues (ligaments) that connect your bones will stretch. When you move around, this may cause mild cramps on one or both sides of your body. You may find you get cramps more often on your right side. This is because as your baby grows your uterus (womb) tends to tilt to the right.

I have had all these symptoms for weeks now too, since about week 6-7...as so many other people have described similar things, i'd say it is normal. :)

I had it too.. when sneezing or coughing or sudden movements etc... definitely way more on the right side too.
I got scared this past weekend though because after a long walk with 2 steep hills to climb, it would not go away... the stretching was more noticable and wasn't fading even hours after resting. Finally took a nap and it went away... came back a little, but not nearly as strong after I moved around a bit after the nap. Totally fine now.

Wanted to offer that as reassurance to others.
However, if your pains are extremely strong, don't go away and especially if you have shoulder pain etc you might want to go get checked for ectopic.
This kind of cramping is usually nothing, but if it gets bad enough it can be a sign of ectopic pregnancy... strong side cramping.
I know thats going to worry some women... everything seems to worry us First Tri ladies!

Thanks Ladies :hugs:

You sure have put my mind at ease esp gertrude with the article thingy  everything has been central and right sided.....I am pretty sure beanie baby is all snug down there b/c I feel awfully dreadful and my hormones are all swishy  but the right sided thing has got me thinking a little too much :dohh:

I know all my stupid books said the round ligament pain happens in the 2nd tri so I would have been worried if it weren't for all the ladies on here with the same issue!! :)

Me too I read all about ligament pain 2nd tri and I def didnt have this with DS so was kinda worried esp after m/c july.....I feel this is our forever baby but I guess like every other 1st tri lady I worry :dohh:

Feeling sick and pulling feelings to one side of the abdomen- it's more like "who in 1st tri hasn't experienced this?" :winkwink:

As I mentioned on babybear's thread as well, I actually get sharp pains on sneezing or rolling over too quickly in bed. I have had 3 normal scans though (most recently on Saturday), so I'm fairly sure it's just normal stretching- lots going on in that area right now, seems like we would have to feel something!

I seem to get it on the left more, but I have scoliosis which means my pelvis is tilted to one side, so that could be why I get it there rather than on the right.

thankyou everyone for your replies to my post!

i feel much better and at ease now

i had a long chat with mym am on the phone last night as i live 6hours away from her now :(

she said i need to be happy and enjpy the pregnancy and stop thinking that everytime i feel a twinge or am dizzy etc think 'yes it is coz i am pregnant' and be happy at that fact

i want to tell everyone - but i cant
i am so happy i am pergnant. i feel like i have been given a second shot at doing things properly this time

i am going to do my utter most best for this baby - make my angel baby proud
xx

Glad you are feeling so much better after talking with your mum hon :hugs:

I feel better today too and am feeling pretty much in the same frame of mind :)

i am just keeping as positive as i am - up until i went and had sex with partner and felt bad afterwards

i am just not going to have sex until i am way past 12weeks - i just worry everytime and dont enjoy it - all i say all the way thru is be gentle, be careful!!

we need to keep on positive thinking

x

:hugs: hon it really doesnt harm baby you know :)

Something to think about.....the feel good factors are good for the baby and that includes orgasms  I know right now it probably doesnt feel like a feel good factor but it really is :) Its probably about the only one thing I dont worry about! Warning though you can get quite uncomfy cramps stretching feeling afterwards if you do this is also perfectly normal!

Not long to go until 2nd tri now hon....we may be able to relax a little once we get there!

Thanks for this thread, I've been having the stretching/pulling feeling all day. I've been on my feet most of the day at work so maybe that's why.

I noticed most of you ladies are a few weeks ahead of me, maybe I'm further along than I think if I'm getting these 'growing pains' already??
