I went and had a blood test done today. They will call in the morning. I have never felt so nervous before. I'm so worried that my positive tests were false positives. I have read that when you are starting menopause you will get false positives. I'm only 36 but it's not unheard of. Ahhhhh I'm just so worried.

how come you have had to have bloods done? i take it you are pg? i think its very rare for bad fertility at 36. im 36 and i am super paranoid about it but from what ive read early menopause is rare. you normally follow your mother from what ive read. my mum had menopause at 40 but thats because her mum died her period just stopped. it was the shock. ive had my bloods done and i have low progesterone and have to get it redone next cycle...

hope it works out for you im sure they were bfps. worst thing waiting for results

Nope there no false positives on blood tests even when you're close to menopause. I hope you got good news today.

Also, 36 is way too young to be worried about menopause. Women who do experience that usually have other conditions/hormonal imbalances etc. that are causing infertility or mimic menopause. Doctors still don't quite understand it.

It's official!! I am pregnant!!! Now to find an obgyn
I am in shock. But happy for sure.
