I am at my wits end. We're all so lost.
My daughter Ayla is 10 weeks. Since she was born, she's been a screamer. We have done EVERYTHING--5 S's, reflux meds, changed formulas, chiropractor, warm compresses to tummy, aromatherapy, gripe water, mylicon drops, car rides (she hates), walks, baby wearing, the list goes on…

She often fights her bottles, chokes, coughs. She fusses and then SCREAMS BLOODY MURDER.
Colic is usually a set amount of time, in the evening, etc. This is mostly all day. She seems like she really wants to be happy because she smiles, and then will frown, and RAAAAAAh. She arches her back, goes stiff, and sometimes she acts like someone is punching her in the stomach and she doubles over.
The weird thing is that she sleeps through the night since about 7 weeks. This is great, but the constant screaming all day?? I feel like she does have reflux and it bothers her, but why only during the day????

Everyone says to wait it out for this magical 12 week mark, but I am seeing GI tomorrow. I keep going back and forth--one day I think she's just a cry baby since she STTN, but then the next I am 100% sure she is in pain and suffering.

Hoping someone can relate. I am hoping they actually listen to me and try to figure out what is going on. I need answers either way, even if the answer is "she's just fussy."
:(:(:(:(

Oh, and in order to go to sleep, she needs the LOUDEST white noise known to man (my house sounds like the airport), and she needs to be rocked, bounced, jiggled vigorously, and the entire time she SCREAMS herself mostly to sleep in my arms. During the day, she only naps about 15-30 minutes. Sometimes I will get an hour if i don't put her down or breathe too hard. I am so happy she sleeps at night as i know this is rare but I JUST WANT MY BABY TO BE HAPPY!!!!!!

Oh wow- no advice here but that must be so rough for you! It does like sound like something is distressing her.

Random question - is she any better if you pick her up and walk around? I only ask as my LO is like this but doing that stops him. He has suffered bad with colic though.

I don't have any advice though but know how tough constant screaming is all day, even with a full night's sleep. Hope they figure it out for you! :hugs:
