Stuffy nose

I think my son has inhertied the OH nose problems ..he wakes up with a complete stuffy nose and cant eat so he gets majorly crabby ..
Ive been putting saline drops since he was born I thought it was the hospital air but nope he dose it here too !

What can i do to help him out ? dose he need a pillow behimd his head so he an breath better ..i asked the doc and she just laughed at me hes been snorting like a lil piglet since he was born lol

Don't put a pillow behind him... he could smother if he rolls over. You'd be better off sleeping him in a bouncer or similar contraption.

saline drops or breastmilk will help to clear up the congestion.

I figured the pillow was not a good idea MIL gave me that idea lol

I am using saline drops every morning poor lil guy ..i also have the lil pump thing for his nose so i get all the boogers ..

but i thought there was some way of stopping it from happening all together

Take him to the bathroom each night before bathtime, or after, and fill the bath or sink with boiling water. The steam should work wonders x
