Stupid Name..?

omg how bloody rude of her to say that! What did u say to her after that!?

nothing i was in shock! but she expects that everyone is ALWAYS going to call her daughter by her full name...Lexie Grace...which will not happen, eveyones bound to call her lexi or lex!

lol!! Does she really expect people to do that? You should make a point of shortening her name just to get at her :haha:

I think she is jealous! I have a 16month called Sienna and i think it will sound like a really beautiful name when she is older! Infact, probably better!

I love the name Sienna, she's just jealous. Why would someone say something like that? Silly girl. I think it's pretty, funky and different without being outrageous and suits a baby right up to a grown woman unlike something like Doris! That's an old ladies name.

My first name is Hyphenated and the majority of the time I just get called a shortened version of the first name of the 2. i.e Lex in your case. Nobody ever calls me by both names, never have done. My Mum did when I was little if I was REALLY naughty and to add it she calls me a shortened version of the 2nd name. I use it on all paper work etc but never ever get called it.

I would call her daughter Lex next time you see her just to annoy her. :winkwink:

You should get her LO's name wrong on purpose next time you see her, call her Lexie, or Grace, just one or the other, that'll really piss her off

Sienna's as gorgeous name and whilst i think lexie-grace is a nice name aswell id say sienna definitely suits a grown up better than lexie-grace does

So the other day i was round my nans and my cousin popped over,
I have a daughter Sienna who is 8months, and she has a little girl called Lexie-Grace who is 5months.

And out of the blue she said "Sienna's a nice name but it'll sound so stupid when she's older" :growlmad:

What do you guys think?

The name will grow with her sweet. How many famous lexie's are there? :-) point made x

Sienna is a lovely name...I can't believe how rude your cousin was! xx

I love the name sienna, was going to call it my little girl but it would have sienna shirley and that doesn't sound good!

I love your daughter's name. Don't listen to her.

Sienna is a beautiful name. I can imagine Sienna as a bride and later as a middle aged woman. I have a little trouble imagining a Lexi as an adult you can take seriously, it kind of expires at 18. Consider the source of whose passing judgement and just laugh it off.

how rude, Sienna's a lovely name, suits any age!
