Hello Ladies,
I went for my dating scan yesterday and during my scan they found that I have a large haematoma. In the report it said that is was 'superior to the gestational sac' and measures 60 x 22 mm. I presume this means it is bigger than the gestational sac which means it is not good news
The baby was bang on my dates and bouncing around though but it still has room to do so.
They also found a left adnexal cyst which I think is a cyst on my left ovary which was not mentioned to me during the scan but on the report.
I am meant to be having a colposcopy next week but I have read that any vaginal examinations or sex should be avoided.
I am torn as to what to do as I need to protect this baby but have to think about my other children too. I don't have any appointments now with my consultant until 16th july and I am going out of my mind with worry.
Please help me
