I am not in second tri just yet....but a week ago I was told that I am suffering from a subchronic hemorrhage located where the placenta meets the uterus.

All the information I could find was women who experienced this early first tri that healed by second. Mine is just now occurring.

Do any of you happen to have experience with this? And what was the outcome. I welcome good and bad experiences bc I know at the end of the day it's out of my control and in God hands so I welcome all advice and stories

I had this with my first, it's quite common, they measured it every time I went in for a scan and it just kept shrinking, the body more often than not reabsorbs the blood and it disappears without any issue. I was just told to not do any crazy activities that like horse riding or boating (like I would anyways while pregnant!!) mine disappeared and never gave me or baby any issues, he is now a crazy almost 4 year old :)

Mine was found at end of first trimester too and was gone I want to say by 20/24 weeks

Omg thanks so much!!! Did yours give you pain? Mine is painful

Never felt mine, I had a lil tiny bleed that ended up discovering it. I have heard of other women having it that have felt pain. It worried me and was scary but the docs and everyone told me not to worry and just take it easy, where you put on pelvic rest? Did they tell you how big it was?

I'm going through this now. Saw lots of blood during a 5 am run to the bathroom on Christmas Day. Horrifying. Spent the day in the hospital, all to say that I have a moderate bleed. The bleed HURT when they pressed on it. I could feel where it was without them even telling me... I'm on pelvic rest as well.

I'm still bleeding after a month (though the amount and consistency, not to be disgusting, has changed), and I go to the Dr. every 2 weeks for a scan. It's shrinking slowly, and my little girl is growing and wiggling like there isn't a problem in the world. She's kicking like crazy! Dr. says he's seen MUCH worse with completely normal deliveries (my Dr. is a high-risk OB). He told me as long as the color or frequency doesn't change (to bright red/more), all should mend itself.

To be honest, after 4 weeks of this, it's kinda become the norm. I've already made peace with the fact that I may bleed to the end of this, so anything short of that is most welcome. I can't change this, but the only thing I won't do is celebrate the baby. I don't want to buy anything until I'm sure the baby is viable outside of my body, and I don't want gifts. May sound harsh, but God forbid, I don't want to look at it...

Hi, im going through this at the moment. I had a big bleed at 6wks-was sure i was miscarrying as iv had 2 early losses in the past but u/s showed healthy baby with heartbeat. Im now 17w4d and its still there but i haven't bled in almost 5wks. My baby is growing perfectly but it does still worry me as iv had it for months and its barely changed in size. I agree most bleed out or are absorbed by 20 wks but i dont think mine will be and it does put you at risk for preterm labour etc. Still the stories ive read have been mainly positive.do you know the size of yours? You should be offered extra scans.Dont panic-its a worry snd its always at the back of my mind but i still feel its very unlikely ill lose this baby ☺
