Success from using softcups

Hi Ladies

I have been TTC for around 7 months now and am quite impatient. I have started using preseed and softcups and we are ensuring that we DTD every other day from CD10-CD20. I wondered if anyone had any good stories about the softcups? I've read some fantastic things online reviews.

They are used instead of tampons during your period but when ttc you can pop them in after BDing to keep the sperm up by your cervix instead of leaking out

We did an at home insem process, and used preseed and softcups. Worked first cycle, praise God! This is after having tried multiple times before with no cups. When you slip the cup inside, it just scoops all the swimmers into place, and really no mess! I highly recommend the soft cups and preseed. Also, maybe a bit TMI, but if after you put the cup in place you press the baggy part up flat against your cervix, it really helps. Good luck ladies! Sending you lots of baby dust!

Oh I have some of these already.. I used them last year when I had my period for 3 months straight and got really tired of tampons. Very interesting, will give them a try!

Could someone give me info on how to insert them? How do you know its in the correct position? Also has anyone used the 'mooncup' as its a similar thing to the softcup I have seen on amazon (but doesnt look so thin). Surely it would collect the sperm like it does the menstural cycle?

Sorry lots of questions, just very interested as am getting frustrated TTC

I've just ordered some of these after reading so many positive things about them.

How do you use them with preseed? Do you insert the preseed, bd and then insert the softcup? Do the spermies not get stuck inside the cup?

At first I could only find them at walgreens, but the other day when I went to get tampons at Walmart, they were right there! They're called Instead, they're in a purple box and are about 7-9 bucks. Preseed is a sperm friendly lubrication. I saw it on amazon for about 20 bucks.

I found it kind of hard to insert these... I had to kind of pinch it together and push it in there. my cervix always sits kind of low, so I could always tell it was inside the cup. I don't really know how to explain it, It took me a couple times to figure it out. GL!

to add onto pp, i was able to buy my preseed from CVS but i have also heard that they carry it at walgreens too!

:O I looked at walgreens and didnt see it! ugh... why cant they all just carry the same stuff... had to go to 3 different walgreens to get a basal digital thermometer! I'll look at a different one for the preseed!!!

I really want to use preseed this cycle I think I'm going to suck it up and spend the 20 dollars....I just got 2 bfns using softcups this last cycle...I'm going to get that preseed.

Hello Ladies. I have heard so many success stories after other ladies have used Pre-seed and Softcups. I just came from CVS and purchased both. I am very excited about using them. My husband and I dtd right before I ran to the store and I decided to just try one out. That darn thing was so hard to put in. I was in pain for a while after. I realized that I was trying too hard to put it in. After trying once again, it slipped right in. Of course, I had wasted all of the "good stuff". lol I am now confident that I will be able to use them correctly next time. Good luck to everyone and much much sticky babydust!!!
