Success with low morphology~sperm?

Hi, yes he had crappy morphology. He started taking pyconogenol (so did I for egg quality - just in case) and when he had his 2nd sperm test done 3 months later the fertility specialist told him he had Olympic performing sperm, he was shocked. He had had 2 sperm tests prior to this and both times the results were poor. I can only put it down to the pyconogenol. Literally weeks after the sperm test (so about 4 months after taking pyconogenol) we were pregnant. Good Luck x

Wow! This is so encouraging!!! I googled it last night and sent some links to my dh. He's so hesitant to take things, but he DID start taking Maca, with hardly any research-based reasons (only because I cried!) so maybe he'll be willing to add this. Thank you SO much!!!

You're welcome. My husband moaned constantly about having to take the pyconogenol until he got his sperm test results back. You should have seen him strutting about afterwards! We had been trying to get pregnant for 2 years before this and I really believe it was this supplement that helped. We had literally book our IVF appointment when we found out. I wish you all the best. No one ever told me how stressful and upsetting trying to get knocked up would be. x x

So, last week, I told my dh about this supplement, and sent him a link to the study that found it specifically helped morphology, but he was skeptical and didn't want to take anything. He said in 5 months, if we're not preggo, he'd take it. I said but it takes 3 months to make new sperm, so really that's 8 months! We left it as he wasn't taking it and I was really disappointed.

This morning, I saw the bottle of pycnogenol sitting next to our vitamins. He said he knew how much it meant to me, and if it makes me have peace of mind, he'll take them. He's so sweet! I hope we have good luck like you and your dh did!

Brilliant. I really believe this helped us. Let me know how you get on and if it works for you be sure to let others know about this supplement (blimey I sound like a sales rep for the company, I swear I'm not - I just got so upset with month after month of BFN's and I hate to see people going through the same thing). I spent 2 years trying everything, researching everything and this is what worked for us. I am so excited for you guys. How lucky to have such a lovely OH too. x

Thanks! Babyface, was morphology a problem for your oh, too? How long did he take the supplement before you got your bfp? Just curious. I know it takes 3 months or something for new sperm to grow, so I'm expecting another few months. It's already been 11 months! I want a baby NOW!
