My dh and I have been ttc for 10 months now. It gets really frustrating, especially when stuff likes this month happens. I have used the OPK for two months now. Last month, my period was five days late, and much lighter than normal. (Sorry tmi). This month, I think I had a bad kit. I had 5 straight days of 'high fertility' and didn't get a peak day. Three days afterwards, I had ewcm. We bd then too. I'm now a week late and trying so hard not to get too excited. I took a test yesterday and got a bfn. I'm hungry seriously every two hours and I'm peeing more than that; even in the middle of the night I'm up all the time to pee. My nipples get hard constantly, even when it's not cold. I sobbed the other day over my tv being messed up.

I'm over analyzing all of this, aren't i?

your symptoms sound promising to me. how many DPO are you? maybe you should take another test in a couple days.

I'm not temping, my gyno told me as long as I get peak readings on my opk it's okay to stick with that. Last month on my kit I had two solid high dsys, immediately followed by two peak days. So last month, yes I'm positive I ovulated.

Wow, that's the first time I've heard a Gyno say to trust an OPK rather than your temp. You can get a serge and a positive OPK and not ovulate. Some women even get a strong serge before AF.

Good luck to you.

I am new to TTC also, but i agree with BeachyFeelin. I temp and i have a track of when i ovulate but with OPKs i have not had much luck. I did not get a dark line as it indicates on the test, but i go by fertile cm and temp shift to track ovulation.
