Sudden 'dropping' feeling in my lower abdomen

So last night at 39+1 I was in the shower when I felt a sudden dropping type feeling in my lower abdomen (around near where the top of my underwear line). I have never felt this before and it was almost like a jolt. At 38+3 I had my last midwife check up where she said baby had 3/5 of head engaged and she was locked in with 2/5 still to go. I'm not sure whether this means she might have descended a little more suddenly (as she still had more room to move) or if it was something else. Movements have been fine and my next check up is tomorrow at 39+3 so will be asking her what she thinks it could have been too (if anything).

Has anyone else had this?

Just an update - I ended up having my check up and was already 2-3cm dialted and stretchy with babies head fully engaged. Midwife did a stretch and sweep and I had my daughter 3 days later
