At first it was a choice between Archie and Theo for our little boy, but then we decided we would call him Archie. We have his name on the nursery wall etc and have been referring to him as baby Archie for the last 9 weeks or so, but now I just DO NOT KNOW, I can't help but feel I want something different :dohh:

I've not told OH yet, but I can't help feeling this way. Has anyone else done anything similar to this?

Yeah, but in the end we went back to our original name! We were dead set on my DD's name, and then I decided to change it, but in the end I couldn't do it and went with our first choice :)

Naming a child is difficult :haha: I was set on my daughters name from pretty much day one and I never second thought it once, but this time is really proving difficult for me :(

You're definitely not alone. OH and I are the most indecisive couple going. We had Lincoln James picked out from the start but he changed his mind a few weeks ago. Then our LO became Theo Oliver. OH's best friend has just revealed their baby's name and they're calling him Theo. Hopefully baby name #3 will be the one for us.

I think Madeleine and Archie sound lovely as a sibling set! Xx

Oh my goodness, I'd be so annoyed if someone pinched my baby name :haha:

A lot of people have said Archie and Madeleine sound great as a set. :)

I was the same. Rory was picked from the first month of my pregnancy with LO and then I stated to get second thoughts and wasn't at all sure and wanted to switch to Benjamin. When he was born though he was absolutely a Rory and it felt right again. I think it's normal!

I love Archie :)

Thank you.

I see your TTC after sterilisation reversal?! Wow that's amazing, just wanted to wish you all the best :hugs:

Ah thank you, it's our first month. Grest choice on your daughters name too, I have a Madeleine ;) x

Really? I've never known of anyone with a Madeleine before :haha: do you shorten her name to anything or is it just Madeleine x

She's named after my nan :). I'm usually the only one that addresses her by her full name, everyone else shortens it to Maddie or Mads. I don't mind but I think her full name is so pretty. Is your daughter called by her full name or is is shortened? x

This happens to me all the time with lots of different things! I think it's when you love something so much and have your heart set on it you end up maybe thinking about it too much and over thinking it and that then makes you question it!

I love the name Archie :)

I call her Madeleine or mads, no one calls her Maddie though, it's just never happened.

I agree though, Madeleine is definitely the prettiest ;)
