Sudden swelling and pain above incision 6 weeks PP Advice??

Hey girls

I had an elective c section almost 6 weeks ago my recovery was great and felt barely no pain and was pretty much back to normal after a week or so. But over the last few days the area above my incision is alot more swollen way more than it ever was and its quite sore. I stopped my PP bleeding around 4 weeks but started bleeding again 3 days ago which I think is my period even though I'm breastfeeding I guessed I was just unlucky to get it!

Has anyone experienced this after their c section during AF or do you think it's not AF and something to be concerned about? I'm contacting my doctor tomorrow but would like to hear your opinions

Hi, I had a c-section almost 8 yrs ago with my son ( due to him being face up ) and I also will be having one with this baby. I had that happen to me, mine happened around 2 weeks after. It was because I was doing way too much and it caused it to swell, I remember my dr telling me it was normal. But still call ur dr bcuz one drs opinion is not another. I hope this helps.
