suddenly sore nipples...?

Hi ladies. I'm 7.5 months pp and have been breastfeeding since my son was born. My nipples haven't been sore while breastfeeding since those first early weeks of nursing. But all of a sudden in the last 3 days they are hurting quite a bit. It started just when he was nursing but now they hurt all the time if something rubs up against them or even if water hits them in the shower (just like when he was a newborn). His latch has not changed or anything like that. Any ideas what is going on? Can this be a sign that I'm ovulating again? Anyone else experience the same thing?

It does sound like it might be hormonal (ovulating/pregnant?). The only other thing is maybe if LO is teething he might have adjusted his latch a tiny bit.
