I like to keep up to date with my subscribed threads but I also like have a wander through the forums too and finding other threads that interest me. It'd be nice if there was some sort of flag or counter that popped up to tell us that there was a new reply to one of our subscribed threads so we can go and check it, rather than having to go back to the User CP all the time to check.

Is that a possibility?

The majority of users would find a pop up alert annoying and if possible I don't think it's an option I would like added to the forum. If you receive instant email alerts you could set up your email alerts in User CP > Edit Options.

Other than this I'm afraid a quick look through your subscriptions only takes an extra couple of seconds. Another suggestion is adding a short cut to your devices desktop for the subscriptions option in User CP? I do this for certain areas of the forum I access more than others.

:D

I agree that a pop up alert would be really irritating, I just meant a flag or a counter next to your username at the top.

I know a quick look at your subscriptions only takes a second but you have to navigate away from the forum you're browsing to check and there might not be something there. Sometimes you're eager to wait for an update on a thread and this would stop you having to go backwards and forwards continuiously.

Add a short cut to your device? It works well for me :D x
