The tokens started today. Has anybody been on one of these before, are they any good ? We were thinking of booking a week away at the end of summer as OH working away until then and I noticed that the place we have been to before is included in the deal. Would anyone recommend it ?

Were going on one in dec. OH nan goes on them all the time and really enjoys them!

my mum has been on one before too, definitely worth it!

if you have been before it would be just the same but cheaper you can still use all the facillities x

Ive booked with Haven directly before and also been on the Sun Holidays and there is no difference to the holiday or through booking directly with Haven.

I didnt realise it was back on but now that I see it is then im definitely going to start collecting the tokens again. Could kick myself that I missed yesterday. :dohh:

Only thing I will say is it is worth upgrading your caravan type if you have the money to do so.

xx

Well I have a priority form so want to but oh isn't keen. May ask my mum instead. No idea where to go, maybe the lake district one? Anyone been?

I went to the lake district one but it was years ago so couldn't really tell you what its like now.

I wouldn't recommend Cala Gran in Fleetwood but the other ones i have visited were fine.

Ahhhh I thought I had missed out, then realised my friend brought the paper round with him to watch boxing last night, winner winner chicken dinner im gonna check one of these hols out :)

Thanks for reminding me

We went on one in March. They're great value for money, definately go hun x

I went on one when I was 12 to Torquay lol. had a brilliant time but obviously that was 12 years ago so the park may not even be there now.
I plan on doing it this time, OH cant complain of a holiday costing £40 odd quid for the four of us (ooh four of us I love it lol) xx

we went to cala gran last yr and it was ok as a base but we didnt eat in their restaurant or go to the clubhouse or pool. When we did (for amelie to put 2ps in the machines lol) it was FULL Of chavs half dressed :dohh:

Where can you find info on this? it doesnt say much about it in yesterdays paper, had a look on The Sun website but couldnt see anything other than a banner

No worries I found this if anyone else wants to look into it https://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/travel/sunholidays/article2062017.ece

you can take dogs to most of the parks but you need to pay a bit extra (think its £10 or £20 per break) and you stay in a caravan specifically for people with dogs so it might not be as nice as you would get normally.

my friend Michelle just went on one of these with her husband and daughter and said it was FANTASTIC. They got a luxury large caravan, beautiful scenery and although they paid extra for the camp pass they said the entertainment and things to do were mass and the holiday cost them £16 each for the full week.

They were my thoughts exactly, unfortunately we had the not so pleasurable experience of using the pool. The once was more than enough! Haha. We did go to the club house but not every night, we just sat in one corner out of the way but it looked like something from the 70s.

i might do i dno.. got my booking form last week .. but can't decide x

We usually go to Crantock Beach in Cornwall and pay about £300 for a caravan so this offer is looking very tempting. Went out to get todays token this morning ! Not sure what the weather will be like in October but its not guaranteed to be nice in Summer so I shouldn't let that put me off.

We went in May and it was freezing. Hubby wants to go again in October but I'm worried it'll be even colder. The holiday itself though was fantastic and great entertainment for Daisy :)
