Super high soft cervix DURING period??

So my period this month has been all sorts of crazy. I usually spot for a day then my period starts, last about 3 days with another day of spotting at the end. This month, I spotted for 3 straight days before my period. Period lasted 3 days, spotted for 1 day, and I was spotting again today until me and hubby had sex, which put me straight back into full blown period again. And this entire time, my cervix has been higher than it's EVER been and really soft. WTH is going on!? I'm on day 8 of bleeding, cervix is extremely high and soft... wtf? I don't think it's a miscarriage as I never got a BFP this month. Any ideas??

I don't think I can be much help, although from personal experience I had a period that lasted 41 days. Yep not the cycle the actual menstruation. I was seeing an RE at the time, and have always had perfect cycles. She told me that it is completely normal to experience an erratic cycle once in a while. Sometimes its our bodies way of flushing the system, so to speak. To this day it has never happened again, but I literally thought I was dying or something that cycle. Hopefully this doesn't last as long for you, but if it does, there are meds you can take to get back on track.
