Super itchy nipples!

As you might have guessed from the subject line, my nipples started itchy quite badly last week. It's fine some days, but other days, they are so itchy. I'm trying so hard not to scratch them and have just been rubbing them gently, but rubbing gently is not relieving the itch at all. Anyone else experience this? Anything I can do to stop this itch or bring it down to tolerable level?

Yes! It is one of those itches that I need to itch but can't!

I find nipple cream helps, best results if it's kept cool in the fridge xx

Agree with PP. Nipple cream is your safest option although you can used non perfumed lotions but to stop a month before birth and switch to a nipple cre if your going to breast feed. Horrible feeling itchy boobies let alone nipples xx
