I never thought I would be able to a superman toss but I did it! :yipee: Unfortunately, my T-rex arms just don't work in the slightest.

Just had to vent.

I had him on my back in my boba 3g but I just don't feel comfortable with it. I don't feel like it's secure enough. I want him wrapped up there snugly and then hopefully he can nap and i can get some things done. He won't nap anywhere but on me and I'm trying to get a WAHM thing on the go. Which is impossible when all my time is spent entertaining him or with him napping on me. Don't get me wrong, i love it, but i really need to get some things done. There is a craft show coming at the end of October and right now i have one hat sewed. Today I actually sewed with him on my knee. I'm wondering if a sling will help if he can nurse/nap in it while I sew? I ordered sling rings today to try with a short wrap I have.

(sorry for the random "i" and all the lower case i's, my phone is screwed up and i can't fix it :dohh:) I

Try doing a hip scoot. Put middle marker in middle of babys back, sit them on your hip, put one tail over your shoulder, create the seat and high/deep as you can and bring the other round the front to join the one over your shoulder. Twist them together a few times to keep the tension and bump baby round under your arm and onto your back. Once baby is secure, keep the top rail of the tail that is under your arm pulled and bring it up over your shoulder. You should then be able to do whatever carry you want and have a good seat.

I realise it doesn't make much sense in text but there are youtube vids!! Just search for woven wrap hip scoot :) Especially look for any videos from Slingababy!

Thanks :) I'll try a hip scoot. I think tucking the seat before putting him back there will make things so much easier.

Thank you again :)I

You can also make the seat before doing a superman toss, lay lo on the wrap with this neck level with the top rail, bring the bottom rail up between his legs, then tuck it into into his waistband. Then superman toss away!

That's a great idea too! Thanks!

I haven't tried again yet because last week was the first week back at school and my husband has been super busy prepping for classes. Hopefully I'll be able to try soon :)
