Sure start Grant

Not sure if this is right section but im just wanting to know the deal with the sure start grant? now before people.jump about benifit scrounger ect doesnt bother me if I can or cant get it. but anyway im just wondering I never got it with my first born as I was working he is now three and we lent alot of our stuff to SIL who was refusing to return it since well she sold it all to buy in her words better stuff! Now iv looked second hand and i can get pram cot moses basket and carseat for £200 but then obviously iv clothes bottles ect so was wondering can I apply for the sure start grant with a second child aslong as iv never claimed before

From my understandings the new rules state you can only claim for your first born( don't think it matters if you didn't get it with you first) !

Nobody is going to call you a benefit scrounger

If you have a child under 16 then sadly you won't be entitled to it.

plus for other things, try ebay/carboots/charity shops (always buy a new matteress tho ) no ones calling u nothing tho, it is bloody hard/expensive x
