Hello, ladies, just wanted to send some thoughts to those who are fearing HSG. And I know it's different for everyone. I survived mine! It wasn't too bad, def not as bad as expected. I think my main issue was my tight cervix, not even the dye. Tubes open

Hi there, got Hsg next month, Thanku for the reassurance, little apphrensive I guess.
Just like a smear apparently, but I have had a bad smear in.the past, nurse made me bleed. : (
How many iui are you entitled to in your council area. Fertility Dr told us last week we could have 4 iui, 1 ivf. But iui is only available if tubes aren't blocked ... When are you starting iui...? X : )

I'm in the US, so theoretically as many IUIs and IVFs as I want as long as $$ allows. I want a few IUIs first, then will decide if we want to do IVF at all and if so, how many (we are thinking one max.). Good luck to both of ya!

my next step is another appt with the doc. it's not until 4/16 as it always takes a month to get in
anyway, my cycles have been long and anovulatory, hoping that by my appt I will still be in this cycle (day 13 today) and will just take progesterone and hoping to start next cycle!! so IUI maybe around mid-may?? seems so far away

Good to hear, thanks for sharing! I had a saline sonohysterogram today, not to bad, but have to have a HSG next month.
