suspected kidney stones scared.

I lve got suspected kidney stones as i keep getting pain down the left hand side. Its sort of on off type pain though not to bad.mu doctors sugery is getting an ultra sound arranged. For 5 weeks now the doctors have been finding red blood cells in my urine samples and no infection has been detected. The pains only really started hurting on sunday when i went for a wee and back pain only. Think its been brewing for a while as a few months back i noticed pain in my back but went away never thought anything of it. Now im really scared. My doctor said people can have them and not know for months years even. When passed can be very painful im so scared. Ive been taking paracetamol and ibruprofen also codine phosphate 15mg. Any advice would help so much. Thanks so much.
