sweep today!!

Got my sweep this morning.. I know its a pointless thread lol, wish me luck ladies!! Got my induction booked for next saturday but would love to go into labour naturally. I really hope this sweep works, been getting bad period like cramping and feeling sick last few days so hopefully this sweep will kick start labour Xx

When do they usually offer a sweep?
DS was born at 39+2 so I wasn't offered one, got a feeling this LO will be stubborn though

I was offered my sweep at 39 weeks as I suffer from spd and im a high risk pregnancy.. Had the sweep about 2 hours ago and not having any pains yet Midwife did say im 2cm dilated and cervix is very soft.. Ive looked online and it says it can take upto 48 hours for labour to start ( if it does!!) Xx

Your lucky! Spd in my last pregnsncy wasnt enough to get a sweep early. They wouldnt do it until 41w but it worked in 48hrs

My sweep with this baby hasnt worked...yet. had my 2nd yesterday.

Afew period cramps but nothing time able Haven't had no show either, really hope this works!! I wont be offered another sweep as its only a week till I'm induced, fingers crossed xx
