Swimmers survival rate...?

Hi guys I just have a little question which I hope you can answer.

I am due to OV in the next 2 days (I think) and we on Friday twice (2 days ago) and didn't use protection.. we are NTNP. Would the like :sperm: survive that long or would they be killed off by now??

Seems like such a daft question.

I've heard they can last 3-7 days depending on the conditions you should be fine but why don't you BD again just incase?

I've heard they can last up to 5 days in a "welcoming scenario"

Hi There!

If you are more NT than NP and are hoping for a BFP then you need to get busy in the next day or two. A few stragglers can hang in there for up to 5-7 days, but as a general rule they're mostly gone by 3 days. HTH!

They can definitely survive for about a week! Last year, I became pregnant doing the deed on cd7, thinking I wouldn't ovulate for a week and not realizing how long the little guys stuck around. He withdrew but fast forward a few weeks, and AF was late...
