Swimming whilst on period??

Just ive just come on but go on holiday tonight (only to devon) but was really looking forward to swimming the boys.

I have a very heavy af so it wouldn't be possible.
If your comfortable with it then why not.

Hello id say just wear a tampon. There is nothing wrong with swimming whilst on af. As long as you feel comfortable then will be fine

Absolutely! Fresh tampon in in the baths changing rooms and there's no issues.

Yeah on my heavy days it'd not be an option but on light days/spotting (on mirena) I do all the time with a tampon

Yup, I've gone swimming while having my period. I just use tampons.

ETA: I've gone Scuba Diving in shark infested waters whilst on my period, so I wouldn't think twice of going in a pool!

I swim a lot but I never do when I'm on. I've never ever used a tampon though either

I would invest in a menstrual cup. Even if you have a heaby flow, there is probably a xup that will suit you. They have a great selection on www.femininewear.co.uk

Yeah I use tampons although I have one very heavy day so I would probably avoid that one, but I actually find when I'm in water the flow slows down, I don't stream with blood in the bath or shower if you know what I mean? And I do have quite heavy periods.
