swimming with Babies???

For those of you that took/take your LOs swiming as young as tyler ( 6 weeks old) how long do you stay in the pool with them for? And what do you do with them to keep them entertained in the pool for that length of time?

when we stay in for about 30mins, and at first we just kept her moving in water, passed back and forth between me and OH and showed her that water splashed, how to kick her legs etc. its lots of fun

for the 1st time we went in for about 5 mins then kyle sat at the side with him and we took turns (its A health club we go to so loungers on the side) then the second time we went we spent about 10 mins and slowly increased it now we spend up to an hour in there he loves it.

The first time we went i just held him close and swung his legs and hands in the water, now he has a seat he goes in and some toys we take and he chews them and throws them and floats about in his seat and for the last 10mins we take him out the seat and ly him on his back and he kicks and loves it XxX
