I haven't been on here since my son was born last July but always found everyone on here so helpful during both my previous pregnancies that I thought I would return for some advice!
I have a regular 28 days cycle but a short luteal phase. Usually ovulate on CD18 or 19. Last period was the 6th August so will have ovulated on either the 22nd/23rd August. Period due on the 2nd September.
However, I woke a week ago (6dpo) to blood which was strange as usually start off light spotting and then get heavy. Thought it was strange as nearly a week early. Bled on an off until Sunday evening where is was all brown and very little - no real flow. I had implantation bleeding with my first pregnancy so thought it might be that again.
I am now 12 dpo and 2 days late for my af due to short luteal ohase. BFN this morning but feel like I am pregnant. I have a really churning lower stomach which I vaguely remember from my last pregnancy and sore boobs too. I am stupidly bloated and feel like I look about 6 months pregnant.
My question is...as I have a short luteal phase, will this effect how soon a positive will show on a test? (I used a 10mui one) Does anyone have any experience of what I am going through and could offer me some advice? Thanks in advance! x
