Symptoms of thrush?

Hi there! My LO is 6 weeks old and so far breastfeeding is great, however I've been having some pain that goes from my nipple deep into my breast tissue in between feeds, could this be thrush? I dont see any white spots in his mouth though..

What were your thrush symptoms if you have had it?

I have had thrush twice since I started BFing. The pain you describe is exactly what I had! Ouch!! My little man didn't have any symptoms but he got put on antibiotics just in case he gave it back to me and I had to put Canestan cream on three times a day. Was a pain as you have to wash it off before feeding. IT worked like a charm though, pain went after a couple of days but you still need to treat yourself for 7-10days.

I had the same pain during thrush that you describe. It took a while to clear up, I was prescribed All purpose nipple ointment and had to apply it after each bf session which was a pain but after about 2-3 weeks it went away. You should also check your baby's mouth or private areas for any signs. Good luck!
