Hi everyone, I’m new to all this TTC stuff. I’ve missed two periods already and today I took a test, it showed negative but when I took the test apart it showed what seem like a positive (when you take the test apart the strip it has a cotton half and the plastic half that shows) the cotton type part had two lines and the plastic showed one. On my last test that was negative there was only one line on the cotton. Could it be positive ???

You already asked this on another thread and the answer was that it's the dye that didnt come across the strip = BFN.

You're not suppose to take apart a hpt. What your seeing is just left over dye that didn't run through the test. Only look at the control and test line window which will make 2 lines or plus sign depending on brand if positive. Also at 2 months late your test would be wicked positive by now.. Do yo have a picture??
