Talk to me about keeping your babies warm at night

Our room is around 17c at night. I sleep in a fleece onesie and then a man's fleece dressing gown. This allows me to happyill not use the duvet as I often end up with DS in with me and I Don't want him to accidentally end up in our duvet so by sleeping with that amount I can not that are the duvet. I do often have the duvet also though but I like being warm.

DS seems to like also being warm. I start him off with vest, sleep suit and 2.5 tog bag. I have a sleeved 3.5 tog bag which i'm tempted to try as DS loves having blankets also. I haven't yet got him to sleep for long on his own in crib as he hates the cold.

DD rarely slept in bags as she slept with me until 10 months. From then she was walking so wasn't keen on sacks. As such she went into fleece suits because she then often kicked off her duvet. She's had choice of fleece suits always now, and even at 4.5 years often sstill asks for her fleece ones.

Micah is 2 years old and is still in sleeping bags when it's cold (his room often goes down to 14C). He's going into a bed next month with a duvet but the bags have been great.
