With both my boys they pulled the placenta out via the cord and asked me to push. First time round i had an injection. Second time round she said i didnt need it and pulled the cord and placenta out, asking me to push. It felt rather close after giving birth but time frame is a bit wonky as Kyle was born after 5 pushes of me recieving morphine. The pain relief hit me -after- he was out.
