Tamoxifen - has anyone been put on the for anovulation/PCOS?

I will keep you posted don't worry. Do you know if you have ovulated yet? Those signs seem like they could be very good news for you. Have you taken a test yet? Don't worry bout tmi. I'm having mood swings, low back pain, tiredness and crying a lot at the mo. No pains or swollen or painful boobs

It will be the best holiday ever if we get good news. So do you know when your'll test? Have you got some tests? I'll start with ic and when i get my BFP i'll take a cb digi. Its all so exciting xx

I'm pregnant!!!

I can't actually believe it! I tested Saturday and it was negative, left it on the side for a few hours and a very faint line appeared so Sunday I bought a First Response test and the line came up straight away, I'm only on CD25.

I had all the symptoms you are describing, I wasn't sleeping due to the lower pain back pain, the boob pain is quite mild.... looks hopeful for you

I so hope you get your BFP too - you still waiting till 2nd to test??

Congratulations hun this is fantastic news for you . I will be testing on the 4th. However i did test this morning but its far to early as only ovulated on cd 18 or 19 and on cd 25 at the moment. Still not feeling good but think i'm coming down with something.
I will keep you updated as soon as i know anything. Have a bad feeling that its not worked this month tho but only time will tell.
What day was you on when you think you ovulated?

I know that post is a bit outdated but it came up from google when i typed in about Tamoxifen!

So, my story so far, lucky enough to get pregnant on 100mg of clomid (2nd cycle) back in June. Unfortunately, had a miscarriage but didn't know about it til the 12 week scan. Had ERPC. Started on it again in september but no ovulation, went up to the 150mg and still nothing so about to start Tamoxifen in a couple of weeks. Bit nervous about it as so scared it won't work! Have you both got pregnant from it? Husbands sperm was all fine when we had tests done earlier this year, just hope its the same now! I've got severe PCOS with an AMH of 95. Struggling along at the min, just can't get my head round the fact that clomid worked now it doesn't. The only thing i am doing different is taking 2g metformin a day! Consultant said that won't have a negative effect though. Thoughts and advice would be appreciated! xxxx

Wonga, I just found out today that the highest dose of clomid still hasnt made me ovulate so I have to do provera to get af then start tamoxifen, I see you are now pregnant, congratulations, have you any advice? x

Hi NitNat,

How are you? It is very hard to get your head around it when it works and then all of a sudden it doesn't. I also found that very hard. I haven't been lucky enough to fall pregnant on Tamoxifen as of yet and i'm now on 40mg.
