Tampons after birth and having marina fitted.

I know your not ment to use tampons on your first period pp but I'm 16 week pp and got my first period at 12 week pp I had merina fitted then and haven't stopped bleeding since I hate using pads do you think I will be ok to start using tampons coz it is kinda my first period still but I have been bleeding a long time. X

After I had LO I used pads then I stopped bleeding at my 6 week pp check up I was cleared and then just days later I started my first actual period and I use tampons. I got my merina put in on march 27th and it was the second day of my second period still used tampons even after the merina.
I've had light spotting since getting it put in so depending on how much it is depends on whether I use a panty liner or light tampon.
I was never told I could use tampons expect before my 6 week check up.
