Tax credits advice please

Does anyone know how long it takes roughly for tax credits to update your amount when you tell them of a change of circumstances?

Really appreciate any answers

It's always been straight away for me. As in the next payment it's been amended xx

It's been straight away with me too although now its the end of year may take a little longer as their going to be more busy I would give two weeks before ringing for an update
