... that I've not been living with my ex? They're investigating my claim as they think I've been living with my ex who I broke up with in Aug 2011. Help! xx

I got that this year as well and told the guy if he didn't believe me then come up for a cuppa after work (all the way from Belfast ) After I said how ridiculous I thought it was as I had no way of proving it was just me and Charlie then I got a letter saying my claim was fine and no further action would be taken - waste of time tbh so don't panic

Thanks, that makes me feel a lot better. I read somewhere that they investigate people randomly (and people they think are being fraudulent) just to see how much fraud there actually is lol! xx

yeah they do randomly check people.. when my mum and her husband split she informed tax credits when he moved out... they asked when they broke up which was 2 months before he moved out & they said okay we'll backdate your new payments from then!!

hope you get it sorted.. theres a girl me and my friend know who was/is claiming stuff shes not entitled to, along with alot of other stuff she shouldnt be doing aka stealing nappies!!! .. my friend called them and theyre now investigating her.

im sure proof that your paying all the bills etc will be more than enough though hun & give them his new registered address if you know it.

Yeah I know someone who was claiming stuff she shouldn't have been, it makes you sick doesn't it!! There wasn't anything in his name at my last 2 addresses so I will be able to prove it xx

yep. she was complaining about being broke.. shes 21, 2 planned kids. her parents pay her food shopping.. she works.. claims money for childcare she wasnt using & then has the cheek to brag about stealing nappies and saying she doesnt have any money cos shes spent it on clothes & shoes for herself!!!
poor kiddies! shes already getting money shes not entitled to! makes me angry for the people who work their bums off and dont get much to help! xx

Im currently going through this, its currently under appeals but with income support i have NO money coming in my rent is in seeking possesion after no rent being payed this has been going on since september.... all because my twat of an ex said he was living with me, even though there is proof its still under investigation, ive even seen the mp if you wanna chat pm me x
