Ok tax credits have always confused me,so looking at there website is jus gobbledygook to me!!
We have 2 kids Leo(2) Lexie(8mo)
My parter was working part time up until May this year when he finally got a full time job.His part time job would bring in between £6000-£8000 per annum. His new job started at £18000 and after the first month went up to £19000ish per annum.
Since Lex arrived we have received £109 per week CTC,£78 per week WTC and £134.40 per month CB (I just realised these we're the new figures after july but wasn't much different before)
When i phoned tax credits to let them know my partner had a new job with more hours I asked how and when it would effect my TC and the boy said it won't.(I know that your TC are based on your previous years income)
My question is when it come to next april, are we gonna get a shock when they take it all away??I know my partner won'y receive WTC any more and that's totally fine but what about my CTC ??
Does anyone have a houshold earnings of £19000 and 2 kids?If so how much TC do you receive??
I am not greedy and i understand that we should be gratefull for what we do get but living off of £6000 er year with no benefit help(we wer told we earnt too much ) lets just say our bank accounts don't look very attractive and its gonna take a bit before its a little healthier and the extra TC would help get us there quicker.
Any inputs would be very appreciated!
