Tax credits

Im soppose to get my tax credits on monday (19th) and just checked my bank and they went in yesterday (16th) does anyone know why??? is it a holiday? im so outta the loop with public holidays and stuff

I read on here yesterday that it's a bank holiday in Ireland so that's why payments have gone in early
