tax return - need major help!

OH was self employed for 3 months last year. jan - april 2010.

now he worked for my uncle who has his own business. they paid his tax for him.
i'm so confused by this tax return. it's asking me for his business details but he didn't have a business. he just worked as a self employed labourer

so flippin' confused.

Do you mean that he worked as a sub contractor for your uncle for that time period? And your uncle paid his tax through the company?

i've filed it now. i just filled in what i thought they needed to know and it says we're owed tax back. will just wait and see what they say now. he was paying 30% tax rate for quite a while whilst we waited for his UTR to come through.

I dunno how my uncle does it he's a bloody tax lawyer lol
